Typenowhere is the publishing wing of UWE BA (Hons) Graphic Design programme.

Our latest release is the new publication ‘CONVERSATIONS ABOUT RACE’ produced by final year students (William Devlin, Anna Quarrie, Meg Alderson, Megan Webb, Meg Preece, Suzannah Bayliss, Nathan Day and Elliott Herbert – Byrnes) and the programme support assistant (Stacey Olika) for BA (Hons) Graphic Design, University of the West of England, 2019

The publication is a conversation about race, documenting interactions to incite further conversations about race. Living in a diverse world but not a diverse course. Institutional and systematic privilege. Dismantling the top and connecting culture. If we are not part of the solution, we are part of the problem. Highlight the source and not the receiver. Things begin at the top and seep their way into society. This publication is aimed at the question, why are we talking about race? As designers, our mission is to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate the word.

You can receive your copy of the publication at the launch, get the chance to meet the team behind this and network with design professionals.
