KWMC is looking for you…

Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC) currently has three opportunities to work on a project exploring the hidden heritage of Bristol’s Knowle West estate.

“100 Years of Knowle West Style” focuses on uncovering, exploring, understanding and telling the story of the area’s hidden heritage through a mix of participative research, making, and site-specific events.

KWMC is seeking an artist, arts producer, and archivist.

The project is part of “Homes for Heroes 100” – a collaborative programme of projects, events, publications and other activities across Bristol to mark the centenary of the 1919 Housing and Town Planning Act (known as The Addison Act after the then Minister of Health and Housing Christopher Addison) which led to the building of large-scale council house estates in this country.
