MOVEMENT BUILDERS

**Applications now open for Movement Builders: Ending the Hostile Environment  – Deadline 12pm, Monday 14th April**

What: Movement Builders is a five-day intensive training for people working towards big systemic change. Half theory, half practical tools, this course will put you in a room with 30 organisers from across the country to learn and plan how to build a bigger and more effective movement to end the hostile environment. We aim to help connect you with other people across the movement; develop a shared language and tools around the strategy, story and structure you need to win; and foster a relational and collaborative culture.

When: The training is residential, and runs from Friday 10thMay, 4pm – Tuesday 14thMay, 5pm

Where: Residential, Kirkburton, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Who: This Movement Builders training is specially for people working to challenge any aspect of the Hostile Environment. You might be trying to tackle these policies and practises in education, housing, homelessness, health, employment, transport, social services, policing, detention, deportation or campaigning more broadly to create a new normal around immigration amongst the general public. You might be an organiser, activist, campaigner, or none of the above, doing the work in a paid capacity or volunteering but we’re after people who are keen to learn and collaborate with others. We’ll be prioritising those who have experienced injustice first hand and are keen to organise with others in their community.
