Paid Design Opportunity at Money Lab

A Graphic designer is needed for a paid opportunity designing a visual identity and printed material for an upcoming cultural event exploring technology, finance and art.

MoneyLab is a programme of critical research exploring the connections between contemporary art, financial activism and digital culture. Previously organised by the Amsterdam-based Institute of Networked Cultures, this fourth edition of MoneyLab brings together artists, designers and researchers investigating and imagining the critical potential after money. Panels, talks, screenings and workshops will inspect the borderlands between critical art-making, decentralised financial technologies, collective organisation, and civil disobedience. Sessions will explore data monetization, digital labour unions, artist run tax-havens, co-operative crypto-currencies and decentralised technology as an open source distribution model.

MoneyLab requires a designer to come up with a visual identity for a day long conference on finance, art and technology. The event will take place at Somerset House in London on 20th January 2018. We are interested in receiving portfolios from designers who have an interest in some of these topics and themes and have some ideas for turning some of moneyLab’s themes into visual content.

A brief summary of the project brief involve:

  • Creating an original visual identity / logo for the event
  • Design header for website in 4 sizes
  • Design printed program booklet
  • Conference badges
