Hostile Architecture

Bettina Barbiah

Hostile architecture is a type of design that is used to be discriminatory against certain members of the public, I wanted to choose this project because I wanted to not only inform what effects this kind of urban design has on society but what it can look like visually, what you are viewing right now is one of my outcomes called DISCORD, A font family that I have created that represents the defensiveness and the violence hostile architecture represents, quoted on a billboard to be shown to the public, making them think about what effects divisive can cause.
