City Fellows

The programme will support ambitious, collaborative and experimental

ideas, from artists working within their communities to address

overlooked histories, current conversations, and dreams for what we need

next. The aim of the work is to collectively understand the world we live in

and to find ways to imagine the future together.

In 2019, we will support two artists to develop new projects. Across a 9

month process, we will provide an artist fee, a production budget,

mentorship and professional development – giving artists the space and

time to conceive of a new idea that inspires ways of thinking, working, or

dreaming for Bristol.

Alongside these projects there will be a public programme of walks, meals,

conversations and performances – City Fellows will open the making

process up to the city’s artists and communities to dream a new Bristol

Artist applications are open until midnight on Sunday 26 May, 2019.
