Politics and Protest: posters from the women’s liberation movement

Hatpins to Hashtags comes to Weston-super-Mare!

After a fantastic project launch and workshops in Glastonbury, Feminist Archive South is excited to bring Hatpins to Hashtags to Weston-super-Mare, where we will build on the legacy of Weston’s prominent suffragettes and celebrate women’s activism.

We are pleased to be hosted by Weston College at the Hans Price Conference Centre from 8th – 19th October. Alongside a number of free public events, we are facilitating a series of Feminist Futures workshops with A level students at Weston College in a wide range of curriculum areas, exploring the rich herstories in Feminist Archive South’s collection and their impact today.

Join us for our opening of our exhibition, Politics and Protest: posters from the women’s liberation movement on:

Tuesday 9 October, 5 – 8.30pm

Weston College Hans Price Conference Centre,

Lower Church Road,
