Don’t Look At My Bumper

Laura Mortimer

Bumper stickers seem to be a way of ‘proudly’ presenting your beliefs directly to people you probably won’t ever have to have a face-to-face discussion with.  Primary research into what people believe led me to these bizarre statements which  seemed to fit into the format in which bumper stickers are written – relatively vague but also seemingly as facts. These stickers play around with the types of beliefs that people do or don’t feel comfortable broadcasting to the world.
