3 of UWE Graphics Design BA students, Ishqha Khidzr, Ellie Cassidy and Amy Wright have participated and successfully completed the https://wedesignforthecommunity.org/ summer school program held in London at UAL Camberwell College of Arts 18-22 July 2022.

The students were selected as part of a cohort of 15 participants amongst approximately 80 submissions. They have worked on graphic design projects for London based community and cultural organisations and produced work respectively, Ishqha for THE SHOWROOM London, Ellie for Migrants in Culture, Amy for Latin American House.

We Design for the Community is a programme part of https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/arts-and-culture/cultural-infrastructure-toolbox/culture-and-community-spaces-risk and supported by the Mayor of London.
