Using a collection of printed outcomes and videos I have investigated the layers we use to protect, exploring the idea of ‘over protection’ and the cost to protect.

We smother ourselves in layers and layers to keep up with the expectations of the time, to keep us protected from the perceived ideas of what is right and wrong. The more we use the more it costs, the more it can be overwhelming when we are all destined for the same result. Are people aware of the cost? Is protection necessary?
