Junior Graphic Design Art Director

We’re looking for a graphic designer to create key art for TV media for a video-on-demand platform. The role requires strong execution skills in Adobe CS (specifically InDesign and Photoshop). We need an original thinker with strong design sense, who can create eye-catching, stand out designs from stills photographs as well as selecting shots from the original media. The work needs to be strong and engaging, to tell a story about the programme/feature doc, and compel a worldwide audience to want to see the film.

The ideal candidate will:
Have a degree (or similar level course) or 1-2 years experience in graphic design
Have strong conceptual, design and typography skills
Deliver key art for releases as well as supplemental artwork to support each release, with or without existing assets
Work to tight deadlines
Have creative problem-solving skills
Be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Have strong MAC computer skills, including thorough understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign), and if possible, Sketch
Possess a sharp eye and pay close attention to detail

The contract will be for 3 months with a view to extending to 6 months.
Start date is flexible, towards mid-late September.
